Bheema Fine Chemicals Private Limited was incorporated in July 2020 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Limited (BCIL) with a clear strategic objective: to strengthen manufacturing scale, enable backward integration, and enhance long-term operational flexibility across the Group. The subsidiary represents a key pillar in our capacity expansion roadmap and its ambition to build a more resilient, integrated manufacturing ecosystem.
The decision to establish Bheema Fine Chemicals was driven by the need to support future growth while improving cost efficiency and supply reliability. By creating a dedicated manufacturing platform, BCIL aims to reduce dependence on external sourcing, support the production of intermediates and off-patent technicals, and respond more effectively to evolving global market demands.
The manufacturing facility is located at the Kadechur Industrial Area in Yadgir District, Karnataka, on a contiguous land parcel approved and allotted by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board. Construction of the facility commenced following statutory approvals, and operations have since begun. The plant has an approved production capacity of 9,002 MTPA and has been designed to support phased capacity expansion in line with market requirements.
Bheema Fine Chemicals is envisioned as a future-ready facility that complements our existing operations by providing scalability, manufacturing flexibility, and enhanced process integration. As capacity ramps up, the subsidiary is expected to play a vital role in supporting new product launches, strengthening backward integration, and improving overall operational efficiency across the Group.
