Application
Thiamethoxam is a Systemic insecticide active by both contact and ingestion, absorbed by the plant, translocated acropetally in the xylem. The biologically active content controls aphids, whiteflies, thrips, ricehoppers, ricebugs, mealybugs, white grubs, Colorado beetles, flea beetles, wireworms, ground beetles, leaf miners and some Lepidoptera spp. in brassicas, leafy and fruity vegetables, potatoes, rice, cotton, deciduous fruit, coffee, citrus, tobacco and soybeans as a foliar or soil application.
